A 3 Day Egg Diet For Astonishing Weight Loss

Have you heard of the egg diet yet? It’s where you eat eggs and only eggs for 3 days or longer. People who have done this have shown to have lost a lot of weight!

When I heard about the 3 day egg diet for weight loss, I thought why not? I have been on the keto diet for 6 months and have been loosing weight for up until about a month now. When I started this diet I was a little over 140 pounds, and now I’m down to 113 pounds! Woot woot! All with just diet alone! Thank you keto!

I know, I know, skinny as hell right? But my stomach pooch is not going away, no matter what I do! SOooo I’ve heard about this egg diet for weight loss. So I’m trying it now.

Also, I’m lazy, so I want to do a little experiment to see if I can get to my goal without exercising. If this experiment doesn’t work then I will suck it up and start working out.

But I know there’re others out there who hate to work out just like me, and want to lose those last couple of inches just by diet alone.

I heard about this egg diet last night, so I’m going to try it! It pretty much consists of eating only eggs for as long as you want.

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs! The 3 Day Egg Diet

It sounds kind of boring doesn’t eat? Just eating eggs for days! But you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do! So I did some research and this is what I’m going to do.

I’m already keto adapted, and I also interment fast, so it may not be that hard to do this diet. I’m going to try 3 days of this. And if it works, then I might try a full week, every other week.

I hear that if you’re on the keto diet, you can eat a regular keto diet one week, and then switch over to the egg diet the next week.

You can do this plan forever if you want, or until you lose your goal weight. If this works out for me, I might try that every other week idea just to maintain my goal weight.

What You’ll Need

The meal plan is very incredibly simple:

All you need to do is eat until you’re full. With 3 simple ingredients:

4 eggs

2 Tbsp butter

1 slice of cheese

That’s it!

To make it clearer, all you have to do is fry 4 eggs in 2 Tablespoons of butter. Salt and Pepper, and then add your cheese on top when the eggs are done.

If you’re still hungry, then eat more, but try to stick to the 4/2/1 ratio.

If you think it’s too much food for you then maybe half it, (2 eggs, 1 Tablespoon butter, 1/2 slice cheese). Same goes if you want to eat only once a day. You can make 8 eggs, and use 4 Tablespoons butter, and 2 slices of cheese! Etc…

The Plan

For me, I’m kind of steering away from dairy, because I’m kind of seeing signs of lactose intolerance. Maybe that’s one reason why I’m not loosing anymore weight!

It could also be because I’ve been eating a high carb content lately. I don’t know, we shall see!

So I’m going to replace the butter with coconut oil. And maybe the cheese with avocado. Or I might just use up the provolone I have left, and then use avocado.

I have parsley and cilantro that I don’t want to go bad so I will use some too. Using just a couple tablespoons of these will not be a problem for me with the carb content. In fact the carb content is pretties much nonexistent, so I’m not going to worry about it. It’ll make my eggs super yummier in fact. Later on if I get too bored I might add broccoli and bacon. I will be making omelets, deviled eggs, boiled eggs. Slices of avocado…

Day 1 of the The Day Egg Diet

I downloaded a carb tracking app on my phone this morning and it’s super helpful! With the cheese, cilantro, and parsley I added to my four eggs today all I had was 1 net carb!

I didn’t go to the store today, so no avocado was added.

Breakfast was an omelet with cilantro, parsley, and cheese. I also used a no carb hot sauce:


For dinner, I made deviled eggs that I made with homemade mayo. This is my third time trying to make mayo, and I think it worked this time. It tasted the best so far. I just don’t trust the store bought brand ingredients and their vegetable oils….

Day 2

Today is actually day 2 of the 3 day egg diet, so my egg dinner will be scrambled with cheese and some chives and Swiss cheese. I haven’t weight my self yet. Should I wait?

Day three hasn’t happened yet, and I’m already getting tired of eggs! Uggg! But I will press on. I’m still a little hungry so I guess I will add an extra egg with my next meal.

Day 3 will be tomorrow, 4/24/19. So to be continued….

Okay, here’s my update. I lost a half a pound in the 3 days! I thought I was going to lose more but it’s ok.


I’m thinking that the people who lose a bunch of weight eating the 3 day egg diet for 3 days, are people usually eat poorly (a junk food diet). And they lose weight because they are now eating clean.  Well, I have been eating clean for months now, so I don’t get as much results… What do you think?
